I joined Joely Sue Burkhart’s writing challenge in the hopes of finishing the first pass of revisions on my WiP.
Second weekly update…not bad. I rounded the corner into Act Two, Part One on Wednesday, so still a bit behind but much more on task.
To make it accountable, I said:
- Act One (16K) the first week
- Act Two, part one (16K) the second week
- Act Two, part two (16K) the third week
- Act Three (16K) the forth week
How did working toward your goals go this week?

I’m a little behind on my editing goals. I’m starting to get antsy to finish the current WIP up so I can start something new!

Ooo…shiny! LOL
I’m trying really hard to get through these revisions before the wee beasties are out of school for the summer. For some reason it’s easier for me to work on new words when they’re home climbing the walls, swinging from light fixtures, etc.
Thanks for stopping by

I’m 30,000 and change into a rough draft of a new book. I hope to finish in the next few weeks. Good luck with the edits.s 16,000 a week is ambitious. I know you can do it!

This is a first pass Ciara, just to get it off to my first reader. I’m terrible about seeing my own plot holes and character lack. I know the in depth revisions after it gets back will take a lot longer and I’ll be pulling out my hair, LOL.
Looking forward to your book
Thanks for stopping by and the positive thoughts!
