Are you ready for some football?
That Man and the wee beasties sure are. My job usually involves snacks and making sure they are plentiful. Check. The snacks have been staged and I have baby-back ribs are in the crock-pot for dinner.
I’m not a big football person.
The commercials are more my speed.
Yet, this year, the team I grew up around is playing. That Man’s team didn’t even come close. Oldest wee beastie’s team didn’t make it out of the Wild Card race. Hmm…it almost sounds like I know what I’m talking about. I suppose I should watch, cheer on my childhood team
On the other hand…
It was a less than stellar week for ROW80. I don’t even have a good excuse. Sigh.
- 250 words per day…Somehow, I managed my Morning Pages with an average of 369 per day over the last seven.
- Deep EDITS lessons — Lesson Three…Sadly, incomplete.
One step forward, three steps backward. Thankfully, tomorrow is a new week.
This week’s goals:
- Write 250 words (or edit for an hour) every day.
- Complete all the worksheets and assignments for Lesson Three of Margie Larson’s Deep EDITS lecture packet.
How was your week?

Well, at least you got That Man and the Wee Beasties ready for Super Bowl. That is a challenge in and of itself. And I must admit, I tried to force my way through a writing-thon, which is a rare op for me. I guess without the crunching deadline of NaNoWriMo, I couldn’t push myself to crank out the word count. Plus, it is a middle grade novel I fear is slowly turning into something else (Oh no!!). So, I commend the progress you’ve made and encourage you to attack your goals head on for this week

So you’re a deadline writer
You and Melanie Macek should team up…she’s all about the NaNoWriMo type challenges.
Thanks for the support Angela and best of luck with the morphing MG story!

I know it is not the same game but I suspect I would feel the same if it was but I loath football with a passion:( If I had had a man and wee beasties it would have had to be on the understanding the game was never mentioned!
All the best with the writing/editing this week – sure it will go well:)

LOL, I’m outnumbered Alberta. I’m also married to a major, major, MAJOR sports fan and I’m pretty sure he sneaked something about sports trumping marriage in his vows.
Thanks for stopping by

I go for the Superbowl parties. LOL. I’m all about the food. This year I’m by myself due to deadlines. But I love the commercials, especially the Budweiser commercials. If you don’t know Melissa McClone, pop over to her blog. She’s got the latest Budweiser commercial for 2013. Those Clydesdales always leave a lump in my throat.

I’ve seen those Clydesdales up close and personal. When we were in Oregon a local store had a promo and we were able to sit in the wagon, pet the horses, and take pictures. It was pretty awesome…even if I can’t stand Budweiser beer, LOL.
Thanks Maria, I wish I could send some of our food through the internet for you

Hooray for the Clydesdales!
I think I am going to take a page out of your book and keep it simple this week. I’ve been slipping, so instead of beating myself up over it, I need to take a step back, a deep breath, and get back into it. Thanks for the reminder that tomorrow is a new week.

It’s easy to overwhelm yourself. At least that’s what it feels like to me
Thanks for stopping by Nicole.

Good word count! Some of Margie’s lessons are longer than others. Was lesson 3 like that? Just wondering.
I didn’t watch Super Bowl. Watched Downton Abbey instead. I did, however, watch Beyonce’s halftime performance–which didn’t impress me much (but it’s not like they asked me, so what do I know?).

LOL, I didn’t watch Beyonce but the wee beasties weren’t impressed. As for Lesson 3, I’m not sure, but attacking it is on this week’s to-do list!
Thanks for stopping by Julie.
