And Two Steps Back

Sometimes, accountability is a bitch.

I was completely derailed this week. Sigh.

I received some major news last Sunday. While the news isn’t/wasn’t devastating to my family, I ache for the people involved. The news, however, opens a possible life-changing opportunity for my family. SO much to think about, work through, and make a major yay or nay decision.

I’m sure that had a lot to do with my failure this week.

Then some proverbial shit hit the fan Monday and Tuesday between That Man and me. Even MORE to think about, work through, and make decisions on.

I guess it isn’t surprising this week was a ROW80 fail.

However, I did keep up with my Morning Pages.

  • 250 words per day…I averaged 403 words per day as Morning Pages six of the last seven.
  • Deep EDITS lessons — Lesson Four…didn’t even crack open the file to read.

This week’s goal is to get back on the wagon with:

  • Write 250 words (or edit for an hour) every day.
  • Complete all the worksheets and assignments for Lesson Four of Margie Larson’s Deep EDITS lecture packet.

How was your week?

Ah well. Derailings can happen (as I’ve learned myself!). Still, I’m sure you’ll be able to make up for it, somewhere along the way!

    This post upset me so much. I hope whatever trials you’re facing will smooth over soon. You know you can always email me if you need to vent. {{hugs}}

Aw, thanks sweetie. I had a good vent session with my BFF this afternoon and have a much better prospective this evening than I did this morning when I wrote this. It was just one of those when it rains, it pours kind of week and I really debated even posting.

Thanks for the hugs and your support!

My heart goes out to you. Some weeks are just like that…too much in real life going on to be able to focus on the fictional life you’re creating. Your morning pages went well, and Margie will still be there for you when you’re ready. :) Hope your week improves and you can make those decisions in concert.

I wish I’d read this earlier in the week. You know you can call/email me when the SHTF. Sometimes a rant/vent is what it takes to get the venom out and be able to look at things with a fresh perspective. I think you’ll definitely want to stay away from the casino tables for a while. ;) Sorry, you know my twisted sense of humor. Hope everything is slowly ironing out and that you find the path you and THAT MAN need to be on together. :D

No worries. I know you’re there :) As I mentioned to Maria, I did gain new perspective after a nice long chat with my BFF.

Considering I NEVER hit the casino tables… not a problem :D

      Thanks for your support Mel!

I didn’t have anything hitting the fan, but I didn’t exactly get anything done, either. Oh well. Here’s hoping for the best!
