- So, a crazy busy week. Two extra days with everyone home really messes with the ol’ mojo π
- Blessed Samhain.

Hope those of you who celebrate Halloween have a fun and safe holiday. I’ll be spending a good chunk of the day at the elementary school in one class party or another.
- Jenna Reynolds’ tarot class was fascinating! And I have to admit it distracted me a bit from new wordage this week. On the other hand it may have breathed new life into an old project…score.
- I was a little better on the social media front than last week but I’m not sure I met my three updates. I think I hit my goal of commenting on at least three blogs a day with the exception of Saturday.
- On the wordage front, definitely didn’t meet my goal. I actually lost a few words when I rewrote a scene in a different POV. Sigh.
- Still maintaining the writing and scheduling of blog posts a head of time. Actually have drafts for most of November that just need fine tuning. You’d think I was getting ready for NaNo or something, LOL.
- Speaking of NaNoWriMo, I wish all of you taking part a hearty, “Good luck!”

Certainly sounds like lots of busy-ness indeed. Also sounds like great distractions so can’t complain about that.
Enjoy your Halloween as well. π

Raelyn,
Breathing life into your fiction and tightening up a tough scene are two big accomplishments that will pay off for you. If not now, soon. Good for you, girl!! You keep on with your Badass Row80 Self. π

The story in question is a failed NaNo from a few years ago. I’ve always loved the idea but it got filed in the ol’ virtual file drawer. So I’m really glad the tarot class gave me something to work with.
Thanks for stopping by Jenny!

Oh wow, having blogs for all of November up in draft form. Kudos! I am struggling on that front; I compose everything the day I post it. The only saving grace is that I only post ROW check-ins.
Even though you lost a few words, rewriting the scene in a different POV was probably a necessary step for the story (or why do it at all, eh?), so it certainly is an accomplishment! I’m sure the word count will reward you with higher numbers this coming week. π

Well, I only post twice a week beyond the ROW80 post and the ones for November aren’t ready to go live but it feels good to be as set as I am. As to the word count, I hope so!
Thanks for stopping by Tracy!

I’m hearing so many things about this tarot card class that I think I’m going to have to sign up the next time it’s offered! Hopefully your writing mojo recovers a bit once the fam gets back to the normal routine. π

It was great. I have lots of new things to think about π If you go back and look at my Using Tarot in Writing posts you’ll see some of the spreads from the class. She added new spreads but having her in depth insight on the spreads I was already familiar with was golden.
Thanks for stopping by Lena!

Those school functions are such fun for the kids, building memories and such. but they sure mess with the schedule at home, right? ha!
Hope you have a great week, Raelyn May the ideas flow from your class and onto the paper…lol.
Raelyn Barclay said:
Halloween has never been my holiday but yeah, the kids love it.
Thanks for stopping by Nadja!

Merry Samhain π Edits are a part of writing! Don’t feel bad if you get a negative word count from it. More words aren’t always better.

I’m actually drafting but realized I needed to change the POV to the character with the most to lose π Thanks for the encouragement and for stopping by.

Ditto the good luck to this year’s NaNoers! ROW80 is almost more than I can handle this November…
I hope you had a Happy Halloween / Blessed Samhain as well!
