It’s been a busy week of learning new things!
I made it for D&E Morning Pages three of the last seven. No new writing or, more importantly at this point, revisions and re-writes. With the new job, and scheduled hours all over the map, there isn’t a guarantee of Dark & Early writing time. Just as there isn’t a guarantee of Late & Dark writing time. So fitting writing time, as least consistent writing time, is a challenge I have yet to master.
And there were days I didn’t even turn on the computer to check emails! I’m afraid to open Google Reader and Triberr, LOL. There just hasn’t been the time to read, much less respond, to blogs. I feel bad about that, even as I know y’all understand the crazy that is life. I’ve driven by Facebook and Twitter a couple times π
Thus, I’m still on the fence about ROW80. On one hand, I’m positive it would help me get back in the swing of things. On the other hand, I don’t feel I have the energy.
My goal for this coming week is simply to write for 30 minutes every single day.
On the up side, I think Beastie Girl will be a princess (though I’m not sure about that hat!) for Halloween π Work is having a contest for best pet costume. I’ll have to come up with something for myself…can’t remember the last time I dressed up for Halloween, LOL.
Do you dress up for Halloween? What will you be wearing this year?

It’s Cupcake’s first, so we’re dressing up as a family as characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Bagpiper is going to be Jack Skellington, I’m going to be Sally and Cupcake will be dressed up as Zero. π

How cute Alice!
I saw two Angry Bird character costumes at Walmart, just need two more and I have the wee beasties set π
Thanks for swinging by!

What a great idea to dress up. And I can totally see Beasty Girl as a princess. Maybe just a simple tiara as a hat? π
I haven’t dressed up in years. Greg liked to dress the dogs for the trick or treaters. He would get Tank to carry the basket of treats to the door and let the kiddies take a piece. Tank loves little kids and animals.

She MIGHT keep the hat on long enough for a picture, LOL. I love that Tank carried the treats to the door. I think Beastie Girl is too protective of the house to do that but it would be so cute.
I haven’t dressed up in years either. Halloween has never been my holiday. However, we’re supposed to dress up at work so I’ll have to come up with something π
Thanks for swinging by Maria!

Awww…. Beastie girl as a princess. That would be so cute.
I don’t usually dress up. I’m contemplating it for this year, but still not sure.

That Man thinks I’m nuts, LOL, but she’s my princess π
Thanks for swinging by Angela!

Not dressing up for Halloween. The last costume I wore was years ago, and I think it was Catwoman–back when I had the figure to sort of pull it off, lol.
If you do ROW80, it may be that one goal is it–30 minutes of writing a day. I’m cheering on that you get time! I hope that you can find regular time in your new schedule to get words on the page.

Yeah, I have no idea what to wear, especially as I have to work in whatever it is. I got my 30 minutes today…crossing fingers I manage the rest of the week π
Thanks for the cheering Julie, glad you stopped by!
